The invoice is the one document that must print perfectly - it carries your GST details and goes to the customer. When it comes out of a cloud session slightly wrong, the cause is almost never Tally.
A ledger can tolerate a slightly untidy printout. A GST invoice cannot - margins, totals and bank details must sit exactly right. Offices on Tally on Cloud fight three recurring format faults, and all three are decided on the local PC, not on the server.
With TSPrint, Tally on the server only describes the page. The actual rendering - fonts, margins, paper size - happens on your local PC, through your printer's driver. This is TSPrint's great strength (no server drivers), but it means a layout problem that appears "from Tally" is usually decided on the local PC. When an invoice prints wrong, do not start inside Tally - start at the local printer settings.
The most common invoice fault in Indian offices: the local printer driver defaults to Letter while Tally's invoice is designed for A4. The printout then scales slightly, margins drift, and the bottom of the invoice creeps toward the page edge. Fix it once, permanently:
As the video stresses, the TSPrint Client setting Print as Image must stay off for Tally work. An invoice printed as an image can look acceptable on screen-fresh eyes but shows soft, slightly fuzzy text on paper - unprofessional on a GST invoice going to a customer, and risky for small print like bank details and terms. With the option off, text prints as text, sharp at any size.
CA offices commonly print on pre-printed letterheads or use specific Tally invoice formats - GST tax invoice formats, formats with company logo and bank details, or half-page formats that print two copies per sheet. Two honest rules:
TSPrint also installs a TSPrint PDF printer on the server. Print the invoice to it first when you are unsure - you get the exact page as a PDF on your PC. If the PDF is correct but the paper is wrong, the fault is 100 percent in the local driver settings (paper size, scaling option like "Fit to page", or tray selection). If the PDF itself is wrong, the fault is in Tally's format settings. This one test splits the problem in half instantly.
Local printer drivers hide scaling options - Fit to printable area, Shrink oversized pages, percentages. For Tally invoices these must be Actual size / 100 percent. A driver set to "Fit" will shrink every invoice by a few percent, which is invisible on a single page and painfully visible when the format must align with boxes on pre-printed paper. Set it once in Printing Preferences so it stays for every job from the session.

Watch Full VideoA scaling option in the local printer driver, usually Fit to page, or a paper size mismatch - the driver set to Letter while Tally prints A4. Set paper size to A4 and scaling to Actual size (100 percent) in the printer's Printing Preferences on the local PC.
Check the TSPrint Client setting Print as Image. If it is on, every page is sent as a picture and text loses sharpness. Turn it off, reconnect the session, and the same invoice prints as crisp text through your local driver.
Print the same invoice to the TSPrint PDF printer. If the PDF looks correct, Tally and the format are fine and the fault is in the local driver settings. If the PDF is also wrong, fix the format inside Tally's print configuration.
