Hey guys, it's Ansar here. So in the last video, we learned how to install Synology on VMware and how to add a LAN card to it, which is really useful for enhancing network connectivity and performance. In today's video, we're going to understand how to set up an SMB server, FTP server, and SFTP server on your Synology, which will allow you to share files and manage data more efficiently. So it's pretty simple, we just need to head over to Chrome. And from there, we can easily navigate to the necessary settings to get started with our server setup. Once we open Chrome, we have to type the IP address of our Synology into the address bar. I'll just hit enter and I'll log in. After logging in, we need to click on the Control Panel, and then we need to click on File Services. Once we click on File Services, we need to check the box. We need to hide the shared folder from users who do not have the necessary permissions to access it. We'll go ahead and save that setting. After that, we will proceed with the next steps.
